Safety & Assumption of Risk

This acknowledgment is presented in-app before a user's first recording and acceptance is recorded (document version + timestamp) as evidence of assent. It supplements, and does not replace, Sections 4, 5, 10, and 11 of the RealMove Terms of Service.
READ THIS BEFORE YOU MOVE
RealMove challenges involve real physical activity — dance, cheer, gymnastics, tumbling, flexibility work, and other athletic movement. Physical activity is inherently risky. Attempting any movement, at any skill level, carries the risk of property damage, bodily injury — including serious, permanent, or fatal injury — even when performed correctly, and even on movements labeled "Easy."
By tapping "I understand and accept," you acknowledge and agree to all of the following:
1. You assume all risk
You voluntarily choose to perform physical movements in connection with RealMove, and you assume all risk of injury, death, and property damage arising from that activity, whether or not a movement was suggested, featured, trending, scored, or created by another user. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release RealMove, its officers, employees, and creators from all liability arising from your physical activity, as further described in the Terms of Service (Sections 4, 10, and 11).
2. You are responsible for being ready
Your body: you are solely responsible for determining whether you are physically able to attempt a movement. If you have — or suspect — any medical condition affected by physical activity, consult a physician before using RealMove. You represent that you have no condition that makes physical activity unsafe for you.
Your level: difficulty labels ("Easy" through "Extreme") are statistics about other users' scores. They are not a safety rating and not advice that a movement is safe for you. Skills such as tumbling, aerial, and contortion movements can cause serious injury without qualified in-person coaching, spotting, and progressions. Do not attempt movements beyond your training.
Your decision to stop: stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or instability. Chasing a score is never worth an injury.
3. You are responsible for your space
Before recording: clear the area of furniture, objects, and other people; check that your floor is suitable and non-slip; ensure ceiling height and surroundings fit the movement; use mats, spotters, or equipment where the movement calls for them. The camera frame guide checks what the camera sees — it does not check that your space is safe.
4. Scores are measurements, not instruction
RealMove's score measures how closely your movement matched a reference video. It is not coaching, instruction, medical advice, physical therapy, or a safety assessment. A high score does not mean a movement was performed safely; feedback (including "worst moments" and drill tools) describes visual similarity only. Nothing in the app — including creator content and courses — is professional advice of any kind.
5. Minors
Users must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed this acknowledgment with you, consents to your use of RealMove, and accepts these terms on your behalf. Parents and guardians: you are responsible for supervising your child's physical activity, including the movements they choose to attempt.
6. Creators carry their own responsibility
If you publish challenges or courses, you represent that the movements you publish are ones you perform competently; you must not design content intended to injure or to bait unsafe attempts. Creator content is user content. RealMove applies limited automated technical and explicit-content screening before publication, but those checks do not guarantee that content is safe, accurate, lawful, or appropriate. Creators are independent users, not RealMove employees or agents.
7. This acknowledgment is part of your agreement
This acknowledgment supplements the RealMove Terms of Service (including its ASSUMPTION OF RISK, DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, indemnification, and arbitration sections) and the Privacy Policy. Your acceptance — with document version and timestamp — is recorded. If you do not agree, do not record attempts; you may still browse the app.
Move smart. Clear your space. Know your level. Stop if it hurts.
